Biography
Kenji started his career in the consulting industry and has experienced many projects for client's corporate system grand-design, project management and business development. Since he started working for Hitachi Metals, he has contributed to the productivity improvement of steel production plants in Japan utilizing Information Technology and Lean production methodology.

Kenji grew up in Japan and moved to California in 2018. He likes to play tennis, volleyball, skiing. Practicing juggling on sunny days while watching his daughter play in the park is new favorite time for him in California.

Currently, he is interested in exploring the practical methodology of combining existing micro/macroscopic simulation tools based on physics theory and new algorithms in machine learning and deep learning for accelerated materials discovery.
